Meaningful Events with LCEP

I have designed events for many years; mainly film and art festivals and I really fell out of love with them.
The problem was that I happen to be very good at all the detail, producer stuff but it makes me broken inside. So I stepped away but always seem to dip back, a little.

LCEP – is the London Communities Emergencies Partnership. Born out of Grenfell, bringing together statutory services with community leads and other infrastructure orgs dealing with responsive work. Ise and I co-designed their first in person gathering. It was deeply humbling to see people VIBING off eachother all day, comntributing on the latest issues, sharing research and also, vulnerability about hopes and fears.

So the events that excite me are the ones that have a clear ‘why’ we are meeting, They are usually a manageable size too so you’re able to really curate the experience and focus on how you’re creating connection.

The art of gathering book by Priya Parker will make you fall back in love with events.
