
I am back working with the team at Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy, this time on a global research project focusing on culture and health. So many case studies highlighting forward thinking in this space, just a few here frpm Latin America/lens on climate:
Mexico: The “Absolut Street Trees” is a large scale mural project, covering 2,000 square metres and eliminates emissions from 60,000 cars. Privately invested and working with a Mexican artists, Boa Mistura collective. Airlite, a technically-advanced paint that helps to neutralise contaminants in the air through a process similar to photosynthesis.
Argentina: Globally acclaimed artists focusing on climate change; Tomás Saraceno, known for artistic performances and conceptualisation of humankind’s place on Earth, in the universe, and its relationship to the air. Pedro Marzorati recently created a climate-change focused installation in Montsouris Park, Paris.
Brazil: Forest House podcast a series of podcasts produced by the Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) and its indigenous, riverside and quilombola partners who live in the basins of the Negro, Xingu and Ribeira de Iguape rivers.
