I mentioned a few months back about getting some R&D funding, plans on that were briefly parked. And then time moved quickly and the heatwave of course and here we are, only a few weeks before I set off for Galicia. Mar Cuervo (addictive balloons) who I am collaborating with is kindly planning all kinds of treats when we get together. I’ve been doing some research on my side and have fallen, big time, for archives. Most thrilling experience was at Met Archives – donning the white gloves, looking through the prints, baby in the sling. He was shockingly quiet. And the Tower Hamlets Archives, recently re-opened – has some serious labelling.
